Christ died for the whole wide world, is simple and easy to say but its detail knowledge that brings salvation of ones soul is a mystery secret as is been recorded in thr script-xures from Rom. 16:25, Eph. 6:19 etc. Knowing Christ well sounds almost the same but it has great difference. Knowledge has the ability to perform and trasnform and so that lacks the ability to perform and transform is fake knowledge. Before the true knowledge of the gospel came to Ghana there has been the knowledge of the gospel but the most unforturnate thing about this was that it coul not transform anyone from sin to righteousness.

To throw more light on the true knowledge of the gospel and how it entered into Africa hence Ghana, I will first tell you how the gospel begun in Ghana. It all begun in South Korea after many years of suffering and hardships by our Founder Pastor Ock Soo Park. God gave special and broad mind to spread the gospel through magaines, training and sending of Missionaries abroad internet, radio and TV broadcast, establishing of a publishing house in South Korea based on the promise of God in Psalm 2:8 which reads "Ask of me and I will give you the Heathen for thine inherithance". As God never fails when he promises, ever since creation, He worked powerfully to fulfill this promise one after the other. As a result of this the first Missionary was sent to Germany marked the genesis of the gosepel not only in Germany but also in Africa, hence Ghana. So it happend that the when the Servant of God was on mission journey to Kenya that was when he passed through Germany. In Germany the Servant of God met some Ghanaians who were by then saved. When they heard of about Pastors mission journey to Kenya, they endlessly wanted Pastor Park to pass through Ghana so that he could preach the gospel their relatives in Ghana. Adding this to his tight schudules was quite difficult but as a man of God who has trained himself not to follow only difficult situations, took the request of the brothers as the leading of God came to Ghana in 1995.

Through this journey some relatives of the Ghanaians of Germany church recieved salvation. Those who recieved salvation were in high positions in their churches in Ghana yet had the burdens of sin until after meeting the gospel. When the knowledge of the gospel entered into their hearts, these things were fulfilled in their hearts; perfomance and transformation(knowledge), so Apostle said in Philipians 3:8 "I had transformation after recieving the excellent knowledge of Jesus Christ. In Ghana the servant of God visited Kumasi, Agona Swedru and a couple of Ghanaians recieved the gospel. This called for church establishment in Ghana. Pastor Park after returning to Korea the same year sent missionaries to Ghana and church begun in a small self ? contain house in Tema community 11. After some time the house could not contain the members since God gave grace and a alot of people had accepted the gospel by then. As a result of this the church was moved to site 14 of Tema community 1 where the mission school started. Some Ghana enrolled to be trained for the gospel works.

This amazed and and brought a great change in lives of the brethren in the church since naturally Ghanaians would like to prepare towards a good future for their families. They were changed to used of the gospel. God showed a special land in Tema community 12, where the church settled for and 12 years God had blessed the Tema so much, He worked marvellously beyound our expectation. Now in Tema we have a Retreat Center, a Church auditorium with 2500 capacity, Good house Internationla School, Mahanaim Bible College, University (IYF); International Youth Fellowship and the Good News Corps(GNC). I want to tell more about the above mentioned achievements and program;

Internatonal Youth Fellowship is the name, made up of youth, university, polytechnic and college students around the world. IYF undertakes membership trainings, workshops, seminars, global camps, world camps, cultural festivals, (GNC) overseas volunteer work. Through th GNC students are trained to live for others and also to become better leaders of tomorrow. Like this students who only know their desires recieve tremendious change in their hearts.


Mahanaim Bible College

This college aims at reformation in christianity by enpowering ministers with the right knowledge of the gospel. Two main are run in the Bible College namely; General and Masters Course. The general course lasts for 6months whiles the masters goes for 12months. The masters program is for Reverend Ministers, Pastors etc, whiles the general course is for Evangelists and others who want to know more about the bible. MBC is about starting adegree and diploma courses soon. MBC has its branches in almost all the countries in West Africa and Kenya with its headquaters in America.
